A Day at the Beach.

I took my family to my favorite beach in Orange County (Thousand Steps) and we were pleased to see that we were one of just a few people on the beach that morning. The kids LOVED playing in the sand, and their dad soon taught them how to bury each other in it. Sawyer especially loved the sand and kept crawling to the edge of the blanket to eat it! We all enjoyed naps, water time, frisbee and a picnic lunch. Does life get any better than this?

 What is a trip to the beach without fish tacos? So delicious.

 After the beach we went back to our hotel to continue our day in the sun --- at the pool. Seriously, we were living the dream. Nicolas was showing us his cannon ball moves. I enjoyed playing with baby Sawyer. Mom enjoyed a nap in the sun.

We finished our day with S'mores -- so delicious!! My camera died so sadly not too many photos. After we put the kids to bed, the adults play a rousing game of Things. Has to be my favorite game of Things yet. So much fun.
