Picnic with a View

I read about a local park in San Diego that offered great views of San Diego and the Bay, Mary Sessions Memorial Park. We decided a Sunday evening picnic would be perfect for that setting. A quick trip to get fried chicken, pasta salad and some lemonade for our picnic dinner and we were on our way. As we were driving there, we felt like we were on a wild goose chase -- that perhaps the park wouldn't be what we were expecting. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the views did not disappoint, and it was so fun to feel like a local in this city. Too bad we didn't have a frisbee or a kite to play with!
